Cannabis in Sevilla, Spain: my journey

Hello, cannabis enthusiasts! As you may be aware, cannabis laws and regulations can differ significantly from place to place. Join me as I delve into the world of cannabis in Sevilla. In this post, I will explore the landscape of cannabis laws, regulations, the local community's stance, interactions with law enforcement, comparisons between hash and weed availability, as well as the costs associated with acquiring cannabis in Sevilla.

My trip to Sevilla is over, these 10 days were perfect, so while memory is fresh I decided to write this post, who knows may be useful to someone. Being a regular cannabis smoker I could not imagine my stay in Sevilla without some daily joints. So from the very first day of my stay I started looking for weed…

How to get weed in Sevilla?

I did not need a dealer in Sevilla because I had Brian, anyway it was interesting for me how gears work in Sevillain relation to cannabis.

High-level wholesale Sevilla dealers purchase weed and hash on the darknet websites. Usually these sites are about wholesale multi-kilo orders, but some also work with small amounts. So in fact this may be an option #1 for you - under the condition you know how to use darknet features of Tor browser and .onion sites + ready to wait 3-5 days for the delivery. If yes - you may find all the info about darknet websites on thehiddenwiki.com - darknet wikipedia.

If you are the person who doesn't want to wait or you vacation in Sevilla is too short for waiting, only the local dealer can save your time and help with weed. Of course, you can just use the familiar way many people find it to wander around the city looking for a stranger who can offer you a small variety of joints for cash. But I think it's not the best manner to waste your time in Sevilla. In our time almost all sellers work online and use cryptocurrency, so walking around the streets may not bring you any results. Now the way of buying cannabis has become more convenient - you get some contact of a dealer, write to him via messenger, choose what you want to buy, pay via crypto and get the delivery to a hotel or previously discussed place. If you don't know any contact of a dealer just ask some barmans or just use google. One more point you should notice that dealers try not to have a personal meeting with the buyer, so the package of weed is just placed in the previously discussed place and you get the photo and GPS tag of the exact place of your purchase.

I was really surprised because I was totally sure that “cash rules the roost”. But now when you can easily convert cryptocurrency to real cash and this point excludes personal meetings thereby, cash started to lose their positions in the drug business. Brian also advised me if you are not familiar with the crypto world, just ask your friends. He was totally sure that everyone nowadays has at least one friend who is close to the crypto and likes smoking as well. So you can just ask him to make the transaction for you. It is absolutely safe for both sides.

Cannabis laws in Sevilla, Spain

You can probably guess that distribution of non-medical cannabis is strictly forbidden and regulated by laws of Spain, so you can not purchase high THC weed in some official shops like you may do in the Netherlands for example.

On my very first day in Sevilla I got acquainted with Brian who has lived here for 3 years already and who is also a regular cannabis smoker. He shared a joint with me and told some stories. As he told that despite non-medical weed being prohibited - cops are relaxed and calm in everything related to cannabis, with some rare exceptions.

But what if you get caught with weed in your pocket in Sevilla?

According to Brian - if you have not more than 10g of weed or 5g of hash and you are not doing any other bad things in public - cops should not punish you. They should just ensure you are not a dealer who sells stuff, and after a short talk should leave you alone and just confiscate your stuff (to smoke it themselves haha).

There are some stories about dirty cops who try to get a bribe from tourists with weed in Sevilla, but these stories are rare, also better not to do this cause you may be arrested for this as a separate crime. Easier just to watch you back and not to walk with large amounts of weed in your pockets.

Local attitude towards weed and cannabis in Sevilla

Although only medical cannabis is allowed in Sevilla, the locals are absolutely ok with the smokers. Local dealers have big cash from the students and tourists, so they are their weed target audiences in Sevilla. You shouldn't allow yourself to smoke anywhere, for example in bars, but nobody is surprised if you get caught smoking weed in a secluded corner of the street.

One more interesting fact from my new friend Brian - even some cops in Sevilla prefer smoking weed over drinking strong. So as I understood Sevilla is a good place for smokers of marijuana because of the light atmosphere, but all the same the best rule is not to be caught with weed in Sevilla 😉.

Brian shared with me a small joint of some unknown indica strain that evening, this was exactly what I needed. We were a little bit drunk and were smoking near my hotel directly on the street near trash containers, and it seems I saw other guys doing the same on the opposite side of the street.

One joint is good - but I needed weed for the whole period of my stay in Sevilla , so asked Brian if he could share contacts of his cannabis dealer. The answer was negative, simply because his dealer did not accept new people. But as we became close after the joint - Brian agreed to become my dealer for the nearest days, so all my issues with weed were resolved, thanks to Brian!
